Dr Andy LowerDr. Andy Lowe is our 1st ArePhD 2010 main speaker/Facilitor. Dr.Andy Lower is a fellow of the Grounded Theory Institute in Mill Valley California ( www.groundedtheory.com ). He arened his Ph.D in social science ( Using Grounded theory Research method) from University of Glasgow UK in 1990. From July 2001 he was relocated from the UK to Bangkok Thailand as non-immigrant resident alien retired. Dr. Lowe still gives seminars for his old University  [Strathclyde] in Hong Kong and Singapore from time to time. In additional, he has supervised over 100 master degree research projects from students of Strathclyde University [Scotland UK] Business School and had successfully supervised 7 PhD gradudates all using the Grounded theory research method.

Africa GTI Network

The ArePhD is working on the establishment of Africa GTI Network. This network will be special to spread a good news about Grounded Theory and its work. The Network will bring together all PhD and Researchers using or planning to use Grounded theory in various disciplines of study. We appreciate the great work of Co-originator Dr B Glaser, and we would like to continue this great work across African Continent. The Network will be officially lunched during our 1st ArePhD 2010 workshop Can you kindly participate in our Poll question(at your right),  Plan not to miss this event of its kind!

Institution collaborating with ArePhD will have a benefit to host such event and allow all staffs attend for free or less cost; to be given opportunities during the workshop to present about their degrees, and many more benefits! Grounded Theory Institute, our first Collaborator!

ArePhD is proudly happy to have directly collaboration with Grounded Theory Institute[the co-originator, Dr. Barney] through Dr Andy Lowe Fellow of Grounded Theory Institute. During the workshop will be live Q + A directly with the co-originator of Grounded Theory Dr B Glaser. ArePhD promotes GT and is working on the creation of Africa GTI Network-join us during the workshop.
